Project information
Privacy & RFQ Data Handling
If you send Prestige Tooling a question, RFQ, drawing, CAD file, photo, or other project information, we use it to evaluate your request, prepare a quote, communicate with you, and—if the job moves forward—perform the work.
We know that manufacturing files can contain valuable proprietary information. We treat RFQ and project information as business information, not marketing material.
What we collect
Depending on how you contact us, we may receive:
- Your name, company, email address, phone number, and other contact information
- Project descriptions, quantities, schedules, dimensions, and other RFQ details
- Drawings, CAD files, PDFs, photos, ZIP files, and other files you choose to send
- Information you provide through email, phone calls, or follow-up conversations
- Basic technical information generated when you use the website, such as IP address, browser information, request logs, and similar security or hosting data
How we use it
We use this information to:
- Review your project
- Determine whether Prestige is a good fit
- Prepare estimates and quotes
- Communicate with you about the work
- Build, revise, or support your tooling or project
- Maintain normal business, project, and accounting records
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and RFQ system
We do not sell your RFQ information or uploaded project files.
We do not use customer CAD files or project drawings for advertising.
Uploaded RFQ files
Files submitted through the website are intended for private project review.
Access is limited to Prestige Tooling and the service providers needed to operate the website, file-storage, and communication systems.
Uploaded files are not intended to be publicly accessible.
We may retain RFQ and project files for as long as reasonably useful for quoting, project execution, customer service, recordkeeping, or future work with that customer. If you want us to delete material from an inquiry that did not become a project, contact us and we will review the request.
Sensitive or specially regulated information
Our normal RFQ process is built for ordinary commercial manufacturing information.
If your project involves information subject to special confidentiality, export-control, CUI, ITAR, government-contract, classified, medical, or other regulated-data requirements, contact Prestige Tooling before uploading those files.
We can determine the appropriate way to handle the information before you send it.
Who may process the information
Prestige uses third-party technology providers to operate parts of the website and business systems, including hosting, file storage, email delivery, and related infrastructure.
Those providers may process technical or submitted information as necessary to provide those services.
We do not provide RFQ information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Website logs and security
Like most websites, our hosting and security systems may automatically record technical information about visits and requests.
We may use that information to operate the site, prevent abuse, investigate problems, and maintain security.
Keeping information accurate or requesting deletion
If you need to correct information you sent us, want to ask about information associated with an RFQ, or want us to review a deletion request, contact Prestige Tooling.
Some information may need to be retained for legitimate business, accounting, contractual, legal, or project-history purposes.
